Chongming County and Chongming Island[edit]

I have created two seperate pages for the Chongming County and the Chongming Island in the German version of this article. I have decided to move everything related to geography to the island page and everything related to politics and administration to the county page. I think that might be a good solution for that one here, too. -- Bigg(g)er (talk) 05:29, 7 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Yes I agree. When I first read this page, I was confused why there wasn't a separate page for each entry. That would be great if you would separate them. ethansmith | talk to me. 11:17, 7 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Origination of Chongming[edit]

Political bias in description of the islands of China was removed. Grammar and non-existent links removed. Did Chongming Island really appear due to a change in the water level of the river, or just due to shifts in the silt of the river bed?76.22.21.70 08:50, 2 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
