Why is this article about the People's Republic of China?

"China" is overwhelmingly used to refer to the People's Republic of China rather than the Republic of China in both the Chinese and English languages. For relevant policy details, see WP:COMMONNAME.

Why isn't "Authoritarian" or similar terms included in the infobox?

Consensus has reached that such terms should not be included as it is not a form of government. (Talk:China/Archive 19#Government, Talk:China#RfC) This question may be revisited in the future.
