Contraversy - sources, more detail. Role in politics, role in rabbinical courts of israel

Does anyone have an Internet contact for the Chief Rabbinate - I can't find a website, or even an email address of a worker / rabbi? Specifically, I'm interested in their Kashrut Division... I'll keep searching and post something here if I find...

Abraham Ashkenazi[edit]

I took out Abraham Ashkenazi (1869-1880). Based on dates shown, was not under Palestinian mandate. It wouldn't be a bad idea to have a complete list (probably in chief rabbi) of pre-mandate chief rabbis, but it doens't make sense to just show Ashkenazi by himself.

Members of the current council[edit]

The article in the main source from Jpost does not report what is posted on the official rabbinate website --Shuki (talk) 18:19, 3 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Control of Western Wall[edit]

The article contains a photograph saying the Western Wall (Kotel) is controlled by the Chief Rabbinate. But according to what I've read, the Western Wall is under the control of the The Western Wall Heritage Foundation under the auspices of the Prime Minister. Does anyone have reliable references that say it's under the control of the Chief Rabbinate?VanEman (talk) 22:01, 19 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Undue lengthy Criticism section[edit]

User VanEman goes from one article to another whitewashing religious jews. In this case - rather than an informational article on a subject with 50 years of history - more than half of the article is whitewashing propaganda against the subject. It should all be removed and we could assess each thing if and how it should be placed back and what other neutral material should be added along with it.
