Proposed deletion[edit]
As the author of this article, I firmly believe that Chevy Chase Elementary School is an institution of the surrounding town, Chevy Chase, rather than just any old "Elementary School". It is a historic part of a town with rich history and pride. Therefore, it is worthy of a wiki article as its audience is could be vast, as someone wanting to move to the area or an alumni wanting to learn more about the current school. Historic site; also close paraphrasing[edit]
The school appears to have been designated by the County as an Historic Site. I can't find a straight-up link showing it and pending that have added a ref that requires the user to add the school's address, 4015 Rosemary, to see the designation. I hope to fix this soon. In addition, this material seems to track the Town of Chevy Chase reference much too closely, and should be rewritten in new prose. I'll work on that and see what kind of improvements I can make to it. JohnInDC (talk) 03:09, 1 December 2014 (UTC)
