"in popular culture"[edit]

I just removed this paragraph:

Cherries jubilee is mentioned in the Tenacious D song/skit "Drive-Thru." Many listeners misinterpret it as a fast-food dessert item, although it is actually only recognized by those of high class upbringing.

It doesn't seem to add anything, but in the spirit of packratishness and antideletionism, I retain it here just in case. —Steve Summit (talk) 20:27, 8 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Kirschwasser or liqueur[edit]

The current description says this dish is made "with liqueur (typically kirschwasser)".

Well, which is it? Kirschwasser is a distilled brandy, not a liqueur. RudolfSchreier (talk) 18:48, 23 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
