Rewrite needed[edit]

The text of the article looks as though it's copied straight from Encyclopædia Britannica. It needs rewriting, fleshing out and suitable references adding. 83.104.249.240 (talk) 12:10, 18 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Trapezium/trapezoid[edit]

I arrived here via the link from Trapezoid. His influential dictionary created the erroneous terminology--fixed most places but not in the US. It should be mentioned here whenever a rewrite is done. Personally, I'd like to see a full section on the subject of the confusion, though whether in Trapezoid or Hutton is debatable. There must be sone history and consequences involved.
