NPOV[edit]

My neutral point of view concerns:

  • It was one of the first Jewish internet sites, and continues to stand out in design functionality, content, and reach.
  • People from homeless people using the library to tourists trekking the world; the Talmudic scholar, the Israeli soldier, the curious gentile, take advantage of the Web’s anonymity to impart experiences and ask for advice from chabad.org. Sounds like advertisment, and gives the idea to the casual user that the web ensures anonymity
  • Chabad.org maintains a number of unique sub-sites I know several sites keeping a children's section, or having parts of the site translated into other languages, and an "Ask the Rabi" section.
  • Chabad.org claims over 2.2 million visitors per month, and over 200,000 email subscribers. Reference? Remember to use second party sources, as Chabad.org is in this context a primary source (and thus should be avoided).

Please keep the tag until the concerns have been solved. Thanks. -- ReyBrujo 16:35, 22 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

A primary source can be used if it is quoted directly. The reason why a primary source is usually not used is because it can be interpreted falsely, but that doesn't apply here of course.--KerAvelt (talk) 18:14, 26 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Does this belong?[edit]

Isn't this whole page just an advertisement for their website? Does this belong in an encyclopedia?Commontater 14:53, 1 November 2007 (UTC) LET ME ASK YOU THEN- Why is there -for example- a page about drudgereport......It looks like you have something against chabad.org. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 95.86.114.183 (talk) 22:56, 2 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Chabad.org's reach and effect is apparently more than just a website but a full organization like any other Mkonikov (talk) 03:58, 16 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
