  1. Is it reasonably well written?
    A. Prose quality:
    B. MoS compliance for lead, layout, words to watch, fiction, and lists:
  2. Is it factually accurate and verifiable?
    A. References to sources:
    B. Citation of reliable sources where necessary:
    C. No original research:
  3. Is it broad in its coverage?
    A. Major aspects:
    B. Focused:
Link state of Victoria. Is there a link for the Air Force Balloons? Otherwise I have no idea about this unit, but I can make uninformed guesses.
    • Did Victoria. RAAF Balloon section has one brief mention at Air Force Training Group RAAF, otherwise nought on WP; the citation takes you to the official RAAF site for them. Cheers, Ian Rose (talk) 05:48, 23 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
      • Move the link to the first para and we'll be done.
  4. Is it neutral?
    Fair representation without bias:
  5. Is it stable?
    No edit wars, etc:
  6. Does it contain images to illustrate the topic?
    A. Images are copyright tagged, and non-free images have fair use rationales:
    B. Images are provided where possible and appropriate, with suitable captions:
Nice work to get a photo of your father onto Wiki without any POV issues.
Heh, if any COI concern was raised I'd have willingly complied but there were no similar images at the Australian War Memorial of the school's WWII instruction staff, and it seemed fair to highlight the one bloke in the picture who went on to command the unit, as well as the later 2-star.... ;-) Tks for reviewing, Storm! 7. Overall:
    Pass or Fail:

I was thinking about sophisticated aerial surveillance aerostats for use in Afghanistan, not promotional hot air balloons! I wonder if an assignment to the balloon unit is seen as a good thing for the career or not? Probably not, but sounds like a nice job.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 03:38, 24 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

It does indeed... Tks for your review, mate! Cheers, Ian Rose (talk) 05:31, 24 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
