Undelete[edit]

This article ("Cavalcade (parade)") was deleted in December 2007, without a heads-up to Wikipedia:WikiProject Equine. I have recreated it; it anchors several interwiki links from other language wikipedia. --Una Smith (talk) 20:45, 20 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Copyeditors improvement[edit]

Hi, I see this article is getting some long-overdue attention. I am going to put in a couple of tags that note some OR and related problems with this article. I haven't addressed these issues in part because I've had other fish to fry and because of the history I had with the (now blocked and inactive) user who put in the original claims. However, if someone else wants to do a little research and sourcing, that would be quite helpful here. Thanks! Montanabw(talk) 16:45, 12 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Definition of cavalcade[edit]

Whilst historically cavalcade refers to horses, the modern usage goes beyond that. It may also refer to a procession of vehicles and people.

To have the Wikipedia article only refer to a parade of horses appears inaccurate.
