Cause stalking as a limited hangout[edit]

It seems that cause stalking is being set up as a potential limited hangout. It's very difficult to believe these large gangs of vigilantes, which are more powerful than local and state police (says Lawson), have been used as a political weapon (a terrorist weapon) in the borders of the United States without federal authorities being aware of them. The media blackout is nearly perfect, with cracks only starting to show this year, pointing to federal involvement as well.

I believe cause stalking is notable, but this article has disinformational aspects; however, disinformation is okay with Wikipedia as long as it's a WP:RS. Don't get mad; get better information onto Wikipedia. Jeremystalked T C 03:01, 31 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Multiple issues with article[edit]

The perpetrators of cause stalking have been called vengeance stalkers[citation needed]. The feature distinguishing vengeance stalking from ordinary stalking is that a vengeance stalker does not seek a personal relationship with his target, acting instead to get even with the target, whom he believes has wronged him or his group.[citation needed]

  • Vengeance is often a motive for stalking by jilted lovers, too.
  • "Ordinary stalking" is not a term with a specific enough meaning to be used in an encyclopedia.

An investigator has asserted cause-stalking / gang-stalking groups are widespread, and some make themselves available for hire.[citation needed]

  • This investigator retracted his claims and told the victims they were suffering from paranoid schizophrenia after taking the victims' money.

A gang-stalking group acting on behalf of a third party would be engaging in terrorist stalking, using stalking as a weapon of terror (and coercion) against the target.[citation needed]
