I disagree with the editor in question's assertions that this page is unencyclopaedic.

Caroline Bridgeman was a governor of the BBC as well as a Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire (a category on Wikipedia containing many names). Jill Teed 13:43, 9 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Nowhere did I imply that the whole article is unencyclopedic. When a tag is put under a specific section, and it says it can apply to either a section or an article, it applies to the section. Just because she's notable doesn't necessarily mean her children are, or that a list thereof should be in an encyclopedia. Deranged bulbasaur 13:55, 9 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion[edit]

I have removed the proposed deletion tag b/c it is based on nothing more than a lie by User:Deranged bulbasaur that I am related to the family in question, which I am not!!. What I am following up on is the category of Dames Commander of the Order of the British Empire and intend to create more pages so as to populate that category.

User:Deranged bulbasaur responsed to my civil comments to him by labeling them "harrassment, which violates both WP:AGF and WP:CIVIL. To abusively claim "harrassment" when no such harrassment exists because he/she refuses to admit they tagged the page in error to begin with is nothing more than pride and arrogance.

Caroline Bridgeman, a DBE and a governor of the BBC, is entirely deserving of her page and User:Deranged bulbasaur needs to be informed by an administrator regarding his abuse of WP:AGF, WP:CIVIL and the unacceptability of fabricating accusations of harrassment and genealogy, which are lies and slurs. If he really believed that I am related to the Bridgeman family, then he should call for all pages related to that family to be deleted, which would be ridiculous and he/she knows it.Jill Teed 16:46, 9 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

My concern stands that the accomplishments on this page are titular rather than actual. On second thought, however, even titular accomplishments are probably sufficient for notability. Most of the above accusations are nonsense, and don't belong on an article talk page. Deranged bulbasaur 17:00, 9 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
