Biological function: Adaptations for 'lay readers'[edit]

While I am not 'expert' I am not a complete novice either than found this article challenging.

Should 'Biological function' for example being moved higher up the article, since it is the thing that 'Joe Public' would be most interested in?

The diagrams appears to show the outer mitochondrial membrane as 'diffusible' and with an orange broken line. Again it appears to show the inner mito membrane as solid blue. An addition to the key (of the image) making this crystal clear and easy to read would be a major bonus to readability. --Leopardtail (talk) 13:26, 25 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
