Copyright problem removed[edit]

Substance, not awards[edit]

Wikipedia is written for the ordinary reader, not the specialist. WP:NOTJOURNAL. These long lists of awards are meaningless, and I think that, except for the most important ones, they should be deleted. The article should be first about the substance of his work, and the section on "Discoveries and awards" is incomprehensible to an ordinary lay reader, or even a high school or college freshman biology student, and it seems to give him sole credit for work that was done by many investigators. This article should be rewritten from WP:RS third-party sources, like Science magazine. --Nbauman (talk) 16:14, 8 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
