His La Scala debut[edit]

I just did a cleanup of the article, but wasn't sure what to put where it said "...creating the role of Masaniello in in Napoli's opera..." which is now in a hidden comment in the article. I have no idea what "Napoli's opera" is supposed to be or if it should be Napoli's Opera. Someone who knows better please fix it.

Just saw this again and right away thought it obvious that "Napoli's opera" should be the Teatro di San Carlo but that doesn't make sense in the original sentence. Does someone know to what "Napoli" is referring to? Is it the composer?

Carlo Bergonzi's role in new legislation to set standard pitch at A=432hz.[edit]

Heard on a radio interview June 9, 1993 WQXR, Carlo Bergonzi revealed his active involvement in a campaign, led by Helga Zepp-Larouche's Schiller Institute, to lower the concert pitch to A=432hz. The interview revealed that Bergonzi bases his support on Giuseppe Verdi's legislation proposal for the Italian Government to set a standard pitch for the nation based on "scientific tuning" of A=432hz.
