Possible Pregnancy[edit]

A recent anon edit added the text that "she lost the child in an accident" which seems inconsistent with text later in the same paragraph "perhaps after an unwanted abortion" ... can we have some sources please? — Stumps 09:41, 7 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

One would like to see a full-length photo; apparently quite a looker. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.22.114.54 (talk) 04:49, 9 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Pregnancy[edit]

Hi! I think it was a forced abortion. Take a look at: http://www.midwestbookreview.com/rbw/mar_06.htm

Well the source you cite is a review of a novel, and the review itself contains factual errors ... such as stating that Rodin was married at the time of his involvement with Claudel. There are a number of competing ideas about the details of Rodin and Claudel's relationship. For wikipedia we need to cite reliable sources. Stumps 06:38, 9 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
The reference I am using just expresses that she had an abortion. It does not state whether it was unwanted or not. I have cited the book and took away the "unwanted". If anyone is able to find more information about the abortion please update the page. This is the source I have used: Mahon, Elizabeth K. Scandalous Women: The Lives and Loves of History's Most Notorious Women. New York: Penguin Group, 2011. Print. AllAboutThatAce (talk) 21:40, 6 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Any particulars about 1984 exhibition?[edit]

I visited it at Quai d'Orsay. One statue, a variation on l'implore, almost full-size was striking. Am seeking provenance and current owner or museum. It differed in that she had one hand on the floor, and the expression of implore was even stronger but not sentimental nor cloying. Help, please.Idealist707 (talk) 08:50, 26 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Brilliant article, but the prose reads a little accusatory towards the end. May want to consider rephrasing. MikeyLuc1998 (talk)Mikeyluc1998MikeyLuc1998 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 22:42, 20 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
