PROD[edit]

I contested the WP:PROD nomination as the club apparently passing WP:GNG, see https://www.news.ro/sport/zeci-de-copii-de-la-csm-ploiesti-s-au-antrenat-in-fata-palatului-administrativ-pentru-a-atrage-atentia-asupra-subfinantarii-clubului-sportiv-foto-video-1922401810002017041816900014. The club is defunct and only played in the first league for a season. Why keeping then on the Wikipedia? It's passing, but why? Handball is not as large as football. It has no interest for the fans. I personally created some days ago a page for the champions of Serbia. it is not a valid reason to delete as the club passing WP:GNG for notability, even its may fails WP:NSPORTS (or 1 season in professional league is enough to pass WP:NSPORTS) . Matthew_hk t c 13:15, 17 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding your previous controversial redirect of CSM Ploești (this article about the women handball club) to FC Astra Giurgiu (football club aka CSM Ploiești), it seem they are not related, and it is not a proper way to "delete" an article. Matthew_hk t c 15:03, 17 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed merge with CSM Ploiești (men's handball)[edit]

Despite some multi-sport club such as Sporting CP and Galatasaray S.K. were split into sub-articles, the two sub-articles of the club were stub and better merge them. Infobox could be replace with more general one as the club no longer participated in current adult league Matthew_hk t c 13:29, 17 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose – CSM Ploiești (men's handball) was enrolled again in the senior's leagues, in the 2018–19 Divizia A (men's handball).[1] It is a common thing for Romanian clubs to have a year or two of pause and then to register again. Rhinen (talk) 15:55, 23 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
