WikiProject COVID-19[edit]

I've created WikiProject COVID-19 as a temporary or permanent WikiProject and invite editors to use this space for discussing ways to improve coverage of the ongoing 2019–20 coronavirus pandemic. Please bring your ideas to the project/talk page. Stay safe, --Another Believer (Talk) 17:21, 15 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Duplication of stats?[edit]

User:Joplin201017 A big thank you for your recent edits to the page. But what advantage does your Cases per day & Deaths per day graphs hold over the already established Template:COVID-19 pandemic data/Brunei medical cases chart? --Nathanielcwm (talk) 12:40, 18 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @Nathanielcwm: while the timeline of medical cases offers daily update of cumulative numbers of cases, deaths and recoveries reported in individual countries, the specific statistics section in the article provides a direct and easy visualisation of daily reported cases and deaths that readers can appreciate at specific dates. Most articles of the COVID-19 pandemic in most if not all countries have a dedicated section for cumulative and daily statistics of the pandemic (please see as an example the COVID-19 pandemic in the United Kingdom page). Brunei should incorporate their own statistical data even more now that the country is experiencing a surge of the coronavirus in recent weeks. @Joplin201017: Could you move it into a template like COVID-19 pandemic data/United Kingdom cumulative deaths chart? Also please add your sources. Nathanielcwm (talk) 23:32, 18 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Nathanielcwm: done. Thank you. Joplin201017 (talk) 01:55, 19 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Joplin201017: wouldn't a line graph be better than as well btw? Nathanielcwm (talk) 06:19, 19 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Nathanielcwm: done. Thanks. Joplin201017 (talk) 07:28, 19 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
