Should we put CNN+ to Category:Defunct video-on-demand services?[edit]

Question says it all after it was announced that it'll shut down exactly one month after launching... After 6 months of heavy advertising. Appreciated. -2601:47:101:F290:DEC:970E:A6E8:5023 (talk) 18:45, 21 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Doesn't shut down until the end of the month CreecregofLife (talk) 18:58, 21 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

– Now that the defunct Spanish TV channel has effectively outlived the short-lived U.S. streaming service, shouldn't the Spanish one take the priority?

If not, couldn't CNN+ (TV network) at least be moved to CNN+ (TV channel), as it was not a 'network of regional TV stations' but a 'single channel used to be available nationwide'? JSH-alive/talk/cont/mail 11:59, 17 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oppose both or weak oppose only CNN+ (TV network)CNN+. My "oppose both" is that this is the English Wikipedia, and thus the current de facto primary topic is probably more relevant to those who read English. My "weak oppose" is since if my assumption is not correct, then neither is the primary topic, and some sort of disambiguation would need to occur. Steel1943 (talk) 20:57, 17 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose I would support and encourage the title CNN+ (TV channel) for the Spain page. But I don't think a page shuffle is appropriate because the PRIMARYTOPIC by pageviews is the streaming service, very clearly, by a factor of 14.8. Sammi Brie (she/her • tc) 00:44, 19 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose moving the Spanish topic instead redirect to CNN (disambiguation) and add both topics there -- 64.229.90.172 (talk) 18:32, 21 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support CNN+ → CNN+ (streaming service); weak support CNN+ (TV network) → CNN+ (TV channel) and both will be on the disambiguation page, regardless — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kirby777 (talkcontribs) 01:22, 26 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
