Untitled[edit]

I am pretty sure that the Turkish Anatolia starts after 1071, the Battle of Manzikert. It needs revision in my opinion since many Anatolian beyliks and empires existed after that -such as Seljuks, Rum Seljuks, Karamanids, Ilkhanids etc. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.165.95.76 (talk) 13:58, 25 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Reference articles[edit]

In chronological order:

Anyone wanting to rewrite this article to reflect its actual subject matter will have to include virtually all of the above historical topics in the order presented above. Kurtis (talk) 10:27, 29 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

This is probably also an important topic to mention, if these two images are anything to go by. Kurtis (talk) 21:58, 29 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Not about Anatolia[edit]

Most of this article isn't actually about Anatolia, but a general history of the Byzantine Empire. This article needs a total rewrite to actually fit its name. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Prince of Bourbon (talkcontribs) 01:39, 1 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
