Added the 2006 BAFTA/LA Britannia awards. Source: http://www.baftala.org/press/?&SID=e03b6f4b44fb0be1113b95ab7b5dd67f msil

I've corrected an error on the BAFTA page. Mike Leigh won the award for best director in 2005, not Peter Weir. Mick gold 15:21, 14 Mar 2005 (UTC)

This page needs a clean-up. It it quite messy. Ixistant 18:44, 20 January 2006 (UTC)

Sean Penn did not win the BAFTA -- it went to Bill Murray.

Work beyond awards

This article is in serious need of expansion. BAFTAs remit goes far beyond the awards it offers. Amo 01:09, 18 May 2006 (UTC)

2007 Awards

Why do have the 2007 awards on the main page. I think the best idea is to remove that because it is already included. Can´t have all years to come on this main page.

How is Eastenders the longest running soap - shown on this page? Coronation Street began in 1960 - this needs updating pronto.

Couple of wee suggestions - a citation and a redirect

Hi folks, I'm not a Wikipedian, and don't want to have to go through lots of documentation in order to just make a couple of small changes. I'm sure there is a diligent member of the Wikipedia community who would either be happy to implement these, or understand why they shouldn't be implemented...

1. The very first sentence of the 'Introduction' heading, which mentions the people who started the British Film Academy... I've found a citation on the BAFTA website, [1]

2. I notice there are a few red links to the BFA [2] - I would imagine it would be appropriate to redirect that to the BAFTA article?

All the best, Dave. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.88.223.3 (talk) 16:17, 29 January 2009 (UTC)

Awards determination

Without knowing how the awards are chosen, the info about BAFTAgate doesn't really explain the controversy. Four jurors.... out of five? five hundred? - Jason A. Quest (talk) 12:23, 10 March 2009 (UTC)
