Teachers or Calander[edit]

I reverted changes to the page to remove the school calander and list of teachers. It seems to me that such information is unencyclopedic, and likely no more up to date than the school website. Thoughts? --Hansnesse 01:18, 14 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Comparison with Castillero[edit]

There are references to Castillero High School that seem inappropriate for this article. The statements compare the education between Bret Harte and Castillero students - and portray Castillero in a negative light. I removed those references. Bakaivar 10:16, 13 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Speaking as a student[edit]

I am a student at Bret Harte, and I added the abbreviation commonly used at our school "BHMS". I cannot truly support it, though I added the website at the bottom; I believe I read it there at some time. By the way, I have added the external link at the bottom linking to the Google Maps version of the school. You can plainly see Leland next to it. The following link, for some reason, is about 150 meters north of the actual Leland High School. Canidate for deletion?[edit]

This article is in bad shape. Could someone who has a knowledge of Bret Harte please extend it. Perhaps we should delete it. This is not an article in an encyclopedia. Wikijjc 15:56, 3 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Wikijjc; I believe we spoke about this, this article cannot be deleted any more than the Castillero page can be deleted. It is just short this way; it could take expansion, but there is generally not much to write about other than its location, main subjects, and excelling academics. Redirect[edit]

I have redirected the article to the school district. very few middle schools survive AFD anymore, the 2005 decision would be routinely overturned.
