The Real Brazzaville Beach[edit]

The "beach" in Brazzaville is a real place. It's where the ferries leave leave to cross the Congo River over to Kinshasa. It's obviously quite different to the place that is portrayed in the novel. Presumably William Boyd knew this; I wonder why he chose it as the name for his novel? Kahuzi (talk) 08:29, 17 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
