The BSPR played a vital role in American Parapsychology: it was at a time when the ASPR were committed to spiritualism and survival hypotheses a critical sceptical group, and several of its members were important figures in the development of the psi hypothesis. I only created the page today and have not had time to find the references I need to do it justice, but I see no point in deletion before I can do so?
