What is the point of this article?[edit]
1 It is absurd to have an article called Borough of Oswestry which tells people that (apparently) there was no such thing before 1974. It dates back hundreds of years. 2 Following on from that, it was not a successor to Oswestry Rural District. Borough status had been continuous.
This article should be corrected by someone who can quote dates and lrgislative authority, or it should be deleted.Tom Beaton (talk) 11:50, 9 October 2013 (UTC)
