First of all, I only have the faintest recollection of the long-deleted article. Still, I'm not seeing anything which distinguishes this version from either that version or the family's entry in List of United States political families (B). I'm mainly seeing a collection of citations which largely fall within the definition of WP:RS, but that approach hasn't necessarily equalled notability when it comes to WP:AFD discussions.

Second, this continues the same old nonsense of omission through cherry-picking sources, pretending that what's notable and what's a reliable source is limited to whatever comes across the web today within the past X number of years. What I'm talking about is the lack of mention of Cheryll Heinze. This should be contrasted with the continuing mention of Janna Ryan, who is neither as close a relative nor as relevant to the topic of relatives with a common bond in political office (WP:NOTINHERITED?). The fact that news coverage of her death in 2012 failed to make the connection is no excuse when it was the central point to news coverage of her original candidacy for the Alaska House of Representatives in 2002. I don't have time right now to get access behind the paywall, but here's a small sample: (Hollander, Zaz (October 18, 2002). "3 candidates vie in Midtown". Anchorage Daily News. p. B1.)

On the surface, the three-way Midtown contest to replace outgoing House Speaker Brian Porter looks like a run-of-the-mill race between names many voters won't recognize.

But scratch the surface.

Cheryll Heinze is the Republican, a former press secretary for Gov. Wally Hickel with no elected political experience but a passel of powerful Oklahoma relatives -- all Democrats.

Hope this helps. Considering how many years that this has been ignored or brushed aside, I doubt it. I guess folks are content on continuing to push the POV that Heinze was notable solely for dying in a plane crash. RadioKAOS / Talk to me, Billy / Transmissions 04:59, 16 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
