Seton House[edit]

Please can whoever keeps adding irrelevant and wrong information about Seton House stop doing this? Ambidextra 18:50, 30 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Former alumni[edit]

These may well be correct from personal recollection, but they need support from elsewhere, or the whole section should be deleted. Chemical Engineer (talk) 17:21, 15 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

No reference has appeared after more than a year, so this section has been removed. Please do not use the web pages which are derived from wikipedia as proof to reinstate it.Chemical Engineer (talk) 20:22, 11 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Notability[edit]

I used Wikipedia to assess and examine halls of residence at Leeds and found it useful. It would be a real pity if this article got deleted. I have therefore removed the "Non-Notability" criteria for the article. Please discuss before re-inserting it. Mike Young (talk) 09:17, 15 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

In particular the fact that the site was to be sold in the next few year or so was not mentioned during my tour of Leeds University. This is very important information available only from Wikipedia and exactly the sort of information Wikipedia should be providing. This Wiki page has been very helpful in helping me choose the correct hall of residence for my daughter. Please do not delete it. Mike Young (talk) 09:21, 15 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed Deletion[edit]

I do not see that the fact that the site has been demolished is a reason to delete it. It is either notable and remains so, or not. Chemical Engineer (talk) 15:41, 19 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The demolition is not why I proposed the deletion, the site is not notable, and there are no independent sources which show this site has ever been notable. The demolition was just an extra point to show that there wasn't any chance of Bodington Hall becoming notable in the future. Ebonelm (talk) 16:25, 19 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
On this basis, most of the articles in Category:Halls of residence in the United Kingdom would not be notable. I would not object to this. Chemical Engineer (talk) 15:39, 23 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
