Grapeshot[edit]

could grapeshot have been used in a blunderbuss? --74.178.227.18 (talk) 20:42, 8 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

teeth[edit]

It's widely documented that just about anything as ammunition could be used in blunderbuss guns, including teeth.

There is a quote "hit a haybrick at 80 yards" which I suspect should read "hit a hayrick at 80 yards" - can anybody verify please? --Redrose64 (talk) 23:11, 24 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I see an editor has now amended. --Redrose64 (talk) 16:59, 11 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Popular Culture[edit]

It pains me to have to remove so much from an article, but we can't have a whole section of unsourced trivia. If anyone wants to add something back, please refer to WP:GUNS before doing so. Grimwol (talk) 13:53, 4 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

1609 blunderbuss Lewis and Clark Expedition[edit]

It is misleading to say a 1609 blunderbus is of the type used on the Lewis and Clark Expedition because the expedition predates 1809 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2600:1700:1101:8A40:9DCF:5D03:12D4:1A81 (talk) 03:31, 12 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
