Early comments[edit]

Why is there a link for Chan Kinchla that redirects to this page? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 132.79.14.15 (talk) 19:14, 5 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Did you know that Ben Wilson the keyboard player from Blues Traveler has the same exact name as some basketball player who has been dead for 21 years, going on 22? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.53.209.169 (talk) 22:26, 22 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Dowdy Smack Redirect[edit]

Why does Dowdy Smack redirect to this article? -- Hellmark 19:14, 16 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Tad Kinchla, the bassist for the band, used to play in Dowdy Smack. I didn't know it redirected here but I won't complain until an article is created.↔NMajdantalk 19:20, 16 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:BT SHS.jpg[edit]

Image:BT SHS.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 00:40, 1 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Alternative rock[edit]

Does anyone else think this band could be considered alternative rock? In the 90's, it definitely wasn't black and white, but this band seemed quite different and non-completely-mainstream... I wouldn't consider them blues-rock, though... Tezkag72 05:24, 1 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

No, what a stupid suggestion. They're about are as alternative as Celine Dion is metal. However, Wikipedia doesn't deal in facts (the same site that lists fucking Sheryl Crow, Michelle Branch and Dave Matthews Band as alternative), so you're at the right place with this idea. 74.69.64.52 (talk) 17:27, 24 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Horrid Article[edit]

This entire article is just plain horrid and smacks of having been written by fans. Far to opinionated, lacking citations. I'm a huge BT fan too, and this article is just one damned crying shame. Yet another reason to... ah! why waste my breath? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.69.100.113 (talk) 03:57, 24 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Then fix it, fan boy. Your computer broke? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 184.174.151.140 (talk) 22:29, 24 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
