The other thing, I do not believe is true. Maltesedog 15:47, 2 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It might not be true, but that's why there's the "citation needed" thing. You can't just delete everything you think isn't true, unless it's blatant vandalism. Drew88 18:35, 2 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I have searched everywhere regarding the allagation, I believe its vandalism. Otherwise one can invent everything Maltesedog 21:29, 2 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

"Attempt" and "Assault"[edit]

I have reverted 134.146.0.12's recent edits to this page, because they could potentially have had a negative effect on the overall neutrality of this article. An event that has never been proven remains an "allegation" or perhaps even a "rumour". 134's suggested wording that there was "news of a failed attempt" would imply that an attempt actually took place. According to my research, no evidence of such an attempt has ever been put forward, least of all by the alleged victim of this attempt. If I am mistaken, please cite a reputable source. On the other hand, the F-A family assault was not only widely reported, but was also witnessed by many. It is one of the tragic events that unfolded on Black Monday, and deserves a mention here. lamato 15:42, 21 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, that sounds reasonable 「ѕʀʟ·」 16:49, 21 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It's not clear what is meant by 'assault' in the article. Were his family members physically attacked? Omgplz (talk) 17:00, 19 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Weasel words[edit]

Please note that 'are generally believed' are weasel words, just like 'many say that'. An opinion of a lot of people is not a fact; 'The allegations have never been proven', on the other hand, is a verifiable fact. SeverityOne (talk) 19:44, 10 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Reliable sources?[edit]

Unfortunately I'm not sure there are any reliable sources attached to this article. Can anyone find a newspaper report of the day, or some kind of evidence of the 'deep concern' shown in Europe according to this article? The only sources for the article are a POV piece by a PN member and a favourable profile of EFA. Both are from MaltaToday, which is unashamedly biased.

I'm not saying it didn't happen, it just would be good to have more concrete information. It's mentioned that there were photographs and eyewitnesses, but there is no evidence of this in the article. Omgplz (talk) 16:58, 19 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
