Name[edit]

Surely this article should be titled bernie Nolan as it is by far the common name for her and used in all the references.MaybeMaybeMaybe (talk) 15:58, 9 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oppose. She's very commonly seen under both names, so I think it's better to keep it at her full name. -- Necrothesp (talk) 14:59, 25 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Ever since the cancer, every single source is Bernie. Unreal7 (talk) 22:16, 25 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support. Throughout her career she has always been referred to as Bernie. Sure, she was born Bernadette, but this is not her professional name.--Tuzapicabit (talk) 16:37, 26 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support - I'm gonna support this, never known her use her actual name. --[[ axg ◉ talk ]] 14:05, 2 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support - I have only ever heard her referred to as "Bernie", most recently by her sister Linda on Loose Women 212.113.145.253 (talk) 03:36, 9 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment - requesting WP:CSD#G6 for move to take place. Tiggerjay (talk) 06:17, 15 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Semi-protect?[edit]

Given that incorrect reports of Nolan's death recently led to erroneous changes on this page, should there be some protection? Smurfmeister (talk) 12:48, 4 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Typically protection is placed after there has been abuse. We don't typically preemptively block editing to pages. Tiggerjay (talk) 06:16, 15 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
