Assuming you mean Ben Smith (rugby league player) (you didn't say, and there are two people listed here as being born in 1986) I think 1984 is correct; that's what it says in his own article anyway, so I've changed it to 1984, subject to any further information. Ben Smith → Benjamin Smith – Not all of the men listed upon the Ben Smith disambiguation page have been known as "Ben". The WP:COMMONNAME of 17 among them has been "Benjamin".
