Big Ben[edit]

Other newspapers around the world reported likewise. IMHO this attribution is clearly correct with so many 1856 sources, so the 1857 attribution to Benjamin Caunt (who is not related to Westminster or clock in any other way) is more than questionable. There are more flaws in the story of this clock on the http://www.whitechapelbellfoundry.co.uk/bigben.htm page. They're bell founders, not historians.Maggy (talk) 09:25, 15 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
