Magyarization question[edit]

In the article it states that Bela Cikos Sesija left the military because of his opposition to the Magyarization policies of the Hungarian Ban Kuehn-Hedervary. I'm not denying this but I do have a question regarding it. If he was opposed to Magyarization then why did he sign his paintings using the proper spelling of his Hungarian surname Csikós? 76.170.108.9 (talk) 22:18, 4 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
