Exactly how many Gutenberg Bibles does the Beinecke hold?

Actually, the Gutenberg was generally bound as a two-volume edition. See Gutenberg_Bible. Those two volumes constitute Beinecke's single Gutenberg. Rschon 14:25, 27 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Ezra Pound Collection at Beinecke Library[edit]

The article on the Beinecke Rare Book and Manuscript Library does not mention the fact that it has a well-known Ezra Pound Collection that includes a lot of very significant manuscript material. 59.96.98.61 (talk) 21:23, 28 February 2008 (UTC)RCK[reply]

Fire Suppression System???[edit]

Ive herd that the fire suppression system in this building relies on removing the oxygen from the building, as to not damage the books from water based sprinklers, does anyone know if this is true? I think that the central core library stacks can be flooded with carbon dioxide to suppress fire; the staff is warned to evacuate immediately if the fire detectors are triggered. The public does not have access to these spaces. This needs to be verified before inclusion in the article. --Reify-tech (talk) 19:34, 3 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Closure date[edit]
