(Don't let them) "Begin the Beguine"?[edit]

Why is the title of Porter's famous song preceded by (Don't let them)? Is this supposed to be a reference to the line in the song that begins "So don't let them begin the beguine"? If so, who would understand this as such (and for what it's worth, later on in the song the singer has second thoughts and emphatically requests "Oh yes, let them begin the beguine, make them play)? Anyway, "Don't let them" is certainly not nor never was part of the song's title and should be dropped. Raaronson 18:42, 9 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
