Renaming the article[edit]

I feel that the name of this article should be broader. There are examples of begging behaviour in other non-avian species which could be included giving a more informative article. I propose that the article be renamed as Begging behaviour in animals.__DrChrissy (talk) 19:01, 6 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

No objection from me. Maias (talk) 00:39, 7 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Delete brood parasitism[edit]

The section on brood parasitism has very little relevance to begging behaviour in it's current form. I propose that it should be deleted, or considerably re-written.__DrChrissy (talk) 17:44, 10 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Section order[edit]

The section order is pretty confused in this article. The lede needs to be expanded to actually summarize the rest of the article, and it would help to use less technical terms to describe a separate section on how animals display begging, why animals display begging, and then go on to summarize for mammals, birds, etc. Steven Walling • talk 22:25, 19 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Yes I agree. I have been trying to make bold edits but without over-writing previous edits. It is currently a "work in progress". Please feel free to edit.__DrChrissy (talk) 17:26, 20 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
