Sample or interpolation?[edit]
We currently say the song samples Cry for You (September song). Are we sure it's not an interpolation? Here's at least one source that describes it as such: [1].
There are definitely also sources that describe it as a sample. But infortunately, it seems to be pretty common for music journalists to carelessly conflate sampling and interpolation. We might just have to hedge between the two options, as we do at Boyz (Jesy Nelson song) § Composition Colin M (talk) 17:46, 5 February 2022 (UTC)
