Gender pronouns[edit]

I am the individual who changed "a person does" to "some people do" so that the phrase agreed with the genderless plural pronoun, "them." I recognize that I probably just made a futile gesture in attempting to produce a bit of prose with more grace than the previous style. Using the genderless plural for the gendered singular is politically correct these days even if the practice is lacking in elegance or grace. But at least please consider that there are alternatives to using the graceless, clumsy "them" when singular pronouns are called for. With a little thought, one can usually find them (no pun intended). John A.M.
