Attribution note[edit]

This article was split out of text from the main article COVID-19 drug development. I believe the drug is sufficiently notable for an article of its own, particularly since it was authorized by the FDA for use as an emergency use treatment in November. -- The Anome (talk) 12:01, 10 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

BAM // urgent need[edit]

The nurses and doctors in the field have given up on pronouncing this to patients. It is generally just called BAM. Can a source for that be found and a disambiguation link from that term be added?

Colbert and Fallon both made fun on the pronunciation, but that’s hardly Wikipedia citation criteria.

As someone who received the treatment no one ever referred to it by its full name. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2600:1700:F90:6950:24AD:55AF:48E:B52B (talk) 18:24, 27 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
