Freight train--not passenger train[edit]

It's important to note that this was a freight train, not a passenger train, and people were riding in empty boxcars. --KJRehberg (talk) 18:23, 20 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Elecric line?[edit]

Please cite that this was an electric line. It is dubious without some concrete evidence. --KJRehberg (talk) 05:03, 25 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Caption correction[edit]

The tunnel at the bottom of the picture IS NOT the Armi tunnel as it is clear from google maps of the railway around Balvano:

https://www.google.it/maps/place/85050+Balvano+PZ/@40.6510349,15.4955399,396m/data=!3m1!1e3!4m5!3m4!1s0x1339116861345c37:0xe745df1b293bedee!8m2!3d40.6509283!4d15.5118611

Would this be the Armi tunnel the tragedy wouldn't have been occurred for the tail of the train did remain out of the tunnel and at Balbvano people woul have realized immediately what was occurring. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 93.38.66.228 (talk) 22:22, 18 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Communication problem[edit]

The article attributes the inability of the engineers of the two locomotives to communicate with each other to one engine being left-hand drive, the other right-hand drive. What does one have to do with the other? An explanation would be helpful for those not expert on locomotives.Bill (talk) 01:09, 26 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
