Untitled[edit]

Can somebody clarify what the following means:

In 1984 Wilson played briefly with Patrick Landreville, a former bandmate of Supertramp's Bob Siebenberg and Thin Lizzy's Scott Gorham from the 1960's cult band RHS.

Are we saying that Scott Gorham belongs to this band (If so it's not on the page about him)?

The link to RHS, is to a disambiguation page, where there is no mention of a band called 'RHS'. StormCloud 12:22, 13 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

is RHS the The Rocky Horror Picture Show? StormCloud

I've reverted the text for the moment. We can always add it again in a cleared format. StormCloud 12:26, 18 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

He never told me anything about that although my memory could be bad at this point in my life. I don't want to get personal but I can say safely with all due respect to his lovely wife Susan during some hard times he stayed with me for about a year or year-and-a-half somewhere around 84 to 86? He never mentioned Scott Gorham or any of that to me. He had Alaris Lee funny stories about Keith Richards and many other famous people. He was the best drummer I've ever played with in my life and I've played with a lot including Carmen Appice. But one Barry was on he was magic. Beyond belief Talent from the gods. And the best friend anyone could ever ask for. And his lovely daughters and lovely wife Susan always treated me with nothing but respect. I even bread a parakeet for them the berry named Jimi! Because the cage was made by a company called Hendrix to boot. He introduced me to Robin Trower many times as did Susan at the end. And if you read this Susan please contact me if you wish. I've lost a lot of friends in my life but none is dear and near as Barrie. I even named my son Robert Barrie James Bemis. The only in the final tribute I could make to my dear mate. And I miss you my friend.😓 Bob Bemis (talk) 07:10, 26 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

My dream was always to be a rockstar, and I got to play with Barrie James Wilson. And then we turned into best mates ! Played a few amazing shows! My bucket list is complete. And I do feel the spirit around me constantly still to this day.👻🎶🎼. A world-class drummer if I've ever heard one or played with one in all of history! Bob Bemis (talk) 07:20, 26 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

And I am not bragging but I am proud to say that one night driving him back home 2 Kings Valley after an amazing show and Dallas Oregon he kept poking me on the knee and telling me I was the best guitar player he had ever played with! He said Bob I've played with Jimmy Page Etc and it was one of the best shows I've ever been a part of! What an honor that was to me. I still miss him to this day and I always will. God bless you and your beautiful family my dear friend. Bob Bemis (talk) 07:26, 26 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

If Ever I had a friend!😁💜🎸 Our Rhythm together. Our friendship. Our shared love of so many things. 😁🎼🍜.friend! the best Storyteller I have ever met in my life and I've met a few believe me. God I miss you, him so much. And as I said before I constantly feel his presence. I think he's an angel on my shoulder to this day. And I hope he is to everyone else he loved. 💜. I wish he could have lived for our album we planned on to come to fruition. And with a teardrop in my eye I will now say goodbye.😓💦✌🐙🐝⚡. Amazing what an octopus drummer in the king bee baby can do! I still have some of it on tape. Bob Bemis (talk) 07:42, 26 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Star[edit]

I've removed the detail about the star "named" after B.J. Wilson. As explained here, star names like this are fraudulent, and aren't recognised by anyone except the company you pay for the name. In particular, no astronomers use these names. Since this star name has no official recognition, it isn't notable. Sonitus (talk) 04:03, 12 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
