I agree should've been ASG - it was my typpooo, and yep I'm in the middle of trying to get it fixed. Just an observation the bit about building them cheap etc should not be in the article. SatuSuro, The only reference I've got to the M Ms & Msa WAGR garratts is Oberg p. 156. He states these were the first Garratts designed and constructed entirely in Oz; entered service 1930, 10 in the class, early engines classed M-class and the superheated versions became Ms-class. Msa were modified Ms-class with an extra 2,000lbs traction. However, nothing about poor boilers or shoddy work. Though the M and Ms classes were written off 1947-55, the last engine an Msa survived until 1963. So I don't think the Ms can be included in the ASG section - but another add-in (sub-section)to the Garratt article can mention the WAGR M-class as the Aussie first design &manufacture of Garratts. No because the M and Ms classes were built by B=P in Britain. They are already mentioned in the Garratt article. If you want to start an article on these classes, go ahead. But while the Msa class may be important to the history of Australian railways, they were not particuarly significant as far as garratts in general were concerned. --Michael Johnson 10:08, 19 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

OK I think all this should be on the Msa stub talk page! There notability was being able to work branch lines that other locos couldnt! Good example of an article specifically for the new WikiProject Western Australia prject - I have been thinking of Garratts in WA as the royal commisison and strikes and things might be good! - if I can find enough ! - at this point I think I'll revert to personal talk pages as all this is off topic of this talk page! Collapsed, it's a long list. Can all the linked names be dropped and shortened ? QR, TGR, WAGR ...
