Round of game[edit]

(Pinging @FastCube: as the main editor apart from myself) There's no need to mark matches as "exhibition game". All the matches here, as unofficial matches, are assumed to be exhibition games and are not part of an official tournament. The only time IMO we should fill the "round" parameter on this page is in case of a tour by a national/club team which was named. --SuperJew (talk) 16:49, 26 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The unofficial team also played competitive matches like the 1980 Oceania Cup, the Indonesian Independence Cup or just normal International Friendlies (if played against an international team). I believe this would clean things up. --FastCube (talk) 05:23, 27 September 2020 (UTC)FastCube[reply]

I understand what you're saying. Still, I think the majority and assumption is that unless marked otherwise it is an "exhibition game". That's my thought (like on the A-League transfer page we only have non-Australian flags but don't mark every Australian and the assumption if there's no flag he's Australian), but anyways whatever is decided should be consistent on the page :) --SuperJew (talk) 07:42, 27 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

This page exceeds Wikipedia's technical capabilities[edit]

Recent additions have pushed this page past Wikipedia's template post expansion include size limit.

At this point, the best solutions are either to reduce the usage of templates, use module-based templates, rewrite the templates as modules, rewrite the templates so the contribute less the "PEIS limit," or split the article.

Splitting the article is probably the easiest option, but the others may be worth considering.

Until this is fixed, templates at the bottom of the page, including templates used to show references, may not work properly. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs) 01:26, 20 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
