Major changes[edit]

In "Genetics" I added more detail about the gene itself as well as details about the protein such as the amino acid length and the fact that it needs to go through two cleavage stages to become an active protease

In "Activation" I completely rewrote the section. Previously, there was only one sentance but I elaboratedand added information about the staphylococcal proteolytic cascade.

"Function" was completely changed to Immune Evasion and describes the major role of aureolysin in hiding from the host immune system.

Biological significance[edit]

In "Biologial Significance" I cleaned up the section and made some minor restructuring of sentances. I wish I could have elaborated more at the end but I could not seem to access the reference they had listed, "Handbook of Proteolytic Enzymes." Rb237512 (talk) 12:22, 29 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Added Image[edit]

Added my own original image of the Staphylococcal Proteolytic Cascade.
