Biased?[edit]

Under Range of Products:

"Yorkshire puddings - Irrestistable, Perfect For Chicken, Perfect for Sausage, Homebakes." Who's point of view is that? Reads like an advert! Kiltpin (talk) 15:17, 17 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Obvious Promotion[edit]

This is blatantly a promotion article that needs to be redirected. This degrades Wikipedia. The parent company has some notoriety and is worthy of a encyclopedic entry. My suggestion is redirection.

The main reference that provides any shred of historical significance is now gone and I cannot find a replacement source: https://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/butlins-aunt-bessie-s/story-11948230-detail/story.html

Keep - One dead reference doesn't instantly make an article non-notable - there are sources that have been added that show it to be a highly ranked and recognisable UK brand. If being promotional is the problem then that is an complaint that could be made about every article that is about a business, trying to remove or rephrase the particular peacock-terms in question would be a better solution, and even a merge proposal would be better than a redirect. The name "Aunt Bessie's" is much more familiar, and therefore more likely to be searched for, than the name of the parent company, so if ever there was consensus for this article to be merged then the original page name would need be retained either as a redirect or possibly a disambiguation page. Then if an article were to be created about another subject of the same name then this would use a different title, for example: "Aunt Bessie's (CKF Foods)", and a hatnote could be used to distinguish between the two articles.
