Room for Improvement[edit]

Is the newspaper still in circulation? The article states the owner of the paper died in 2017. Did someone pick up the reins or has the newspaper died out? Also, is there any examples of how the paper was radical in comparison to Atlanta Daily World? Good use of pairing information with sources and remaining neutral.Lady Fierce (talk) 05:14, 7 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

“The Inquirer wanted to report on the untold or sanctified stories of the civil rights movement for the black citizens in Atlanta.” Is the most powerful sentence in the paper because it uses the words untold and sanctified. These words imply that there was a lack of insistence or silencing of those who wanted these stories told. This sentence should become the second sentence in the article. Also you could add the Atlanta Inquirer to African American owned newspapers in the categories tag. Great amount of citations and information, if possible you could discuss the notable scoops the paper got, and its first edition. SophieBelatrix (talk) 01:27, 7 May 2019 (EST)

Notable Coverage? Reception? Awards?[edit]

I’m glad this page now exists, but to move it out of stub class, it needs a lot more development. In particular, what kinds of stories did it cover? How was it designed?

Were there shifts in ownership? If so, or not, how did the coverage change over time?

What was the audience reception of this newspaper?

How competitive was/is the Atlanta Inquirer compared to other local, national, and global Black newspapers? JaneNova (talk) 17:47, 17 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
