Additional Sources needed[edit]

This article needs additional sources. So far the only cite that backs up this article is this which isn't a reliable source. This article is not in line with WP:BLP but I'm not stubbing it at this point much of the information in the article may have been available in the dead links. The site you claim to be "unreliable" is run by Louisiana State University-based scholar Alexander Mikaberidze and the Advisory Board includes such prominent students of the Caucasus as Gocha Japaridze, Stephen H. Rapp and Ronald Grigor Suny.[1] --Kober^Talk 05:10, 19 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Article issues and classification[edit]

The criteria #1 states; The article is suitably referenced, with inline citations. It has reliable sources, and any important or controversial material which is likely to be challenged is cited and #4, The article is reasonably well-written.

The article has a January 2010 "More footnotes" and August 2020 inline "citation needed" tags. Reassess to C-class.

External links[edit]

There are six entries in the "External links". Three seems to be an acceptable number and of course, everyone has their favorite to add for four. The problem is that none is needed for article promotion and any "extras" need trimming.

ELpoints #3) states: Links in the "External links" section should be kept to a minimum. A lack of external links or a small number of external links is not a reason to add external links.
LINKFARM states: There is nothing wrong with adding one or more useful content-relevant links to the external links section of an article; however, excessive lists can dwarf articles and detract from the purpose of Wikipedia. On articles about topics with many fansites, for example, including a link to one major fansite may be appropriate.
