Gallery[edit]

Six images is not a surfeit and a small gallery is appropriate in an artist bio. Ewulp (talk) 06:24, 8 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

It's seven images and there are already a plethora of images in this article. A gallery should not be a place in an article for an indiscriminate collection of an artist's work. Do these additional images add needed content to the article? There were already nine rather large images in an article that is only 1425 words long. Does the Gallery fulfill the parameters of WP:GALLERY? In my opinion no. Shearonink (talk) 13:50, 8 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
In my opinion, yes! Johnbod (talk) 15:59, 8 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Johnbod Yes, there should be a gallery or yes, the gallery was too much?... I'm not sure what question/concern you're answering "Yes" to. Shearonink (talk) 16:10, 8 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
!! Obviously, yes there should be a gallery (in my opinion). Johnbod (talk) 16:13, 8 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
So you are fine with the size of the present gallery and with the number of images in the article. Shearonink (talk) 16:16, 8 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
They may not be be the best selection & more explanatory captions would be good, but otherwise yes. Lots of illustrations are to be expected in visual arts articles; for some reason some editors find them annoying. Personally I think the incidental images of house, statue, tomb etc could be corralled into another gallery. Johnbod (talk) 17:21, 8 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Ok then, enjoy and have at it. Shearonink (talk) 17:46, 8 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
