Contested deletion[edit]

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because... (I did not create this page nor do I know the person who did (CookieMonster755), I just edited it to make it more complete, not up to me to know the reasons why the author decided that I was notable enough to have a Wikipedia page, definitely flattering though for a young architect!) --Mamoumani (talk) 22:17, 10 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

@Mamoumani: I created the article because it was requested by multiple people. I read Wikipedia policies, and thought Arthur was notably enough to have a article in the Encylopedia. His architecture is amazing! CookieMonster755 (talk) 01:29, 12 December 2014 (UTC)CookieMonster755[reply]
3d printing is great, Mamou Mani has too be too. Now, i found that CookieMaster having on his Facebook page one single "Like" by Mamou Mani himself, makes me wonder : first, is this the same person ? second, are these persons close enough ? and finally shall we mention every FabLab in the world, every 3D teacher in the world or is there something special with this one ? Is the VM award important enough, and if so how come is there not one single article from secondary sources appearing anywhere. Besides i could not find anywhere any mention of requests on October 18th for the creation of Mamou Mani's page. KratorOne (talk) 10:17, 12 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because... (This is the second time a notice is placed on this article - I have contacted the creator of the article "Cookiemonster755" yesterday out of curiosity and to thank him/her (I do not know him/her at all and liked his facebook page when I noticed his page as the only way to contact this person) and he/she said: "I thought your were very notable for the article, and you are a great architect!" Again, it is not up to me to decide but someone, somewhere, thought I was notable enough. I would be quite pathetic to create a false identity and facebook page to validate a wiki article and pretty stupid to like my own page but again you have to rely on trust.) --Mamoumani (talk) 11:39, 12 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
As a friendly advice, you should try, for your own good, to produce reliable sources which are lacking obviously. TEdX, is insanely cool but it won't appear differently as scholar or business references or "highly promessing personalities" and not what we call Secondary source, meaning "not produced by oneself" The VM and the website are obviously "Primary source". Having said that, WP (wikipedia) is more important for it's capacity of relaying information than in producing it, for now, but who knows, maybe you'll be able to 3d print WP commons someday ? ;-) By the way i just added you on the List of TED speakers. Keep up the good work.KratorOne (talk) 13:57, 12 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Hello KratorOne and Mamoumani - I have NO relation to the french architect Arthur. I created the Wikipedia article because I thought his works was notable to be include on Wikipedia. I am a man by the way. I don't know Mamoumani and have no contact with him. I have a Facebook page for Wikipedia editors to contact me in case they can't reach me on my talk page. Mamoumani did do a TedX speech, so he is VERY notable for a wikipedia article, and I don't think it should be deleted. You may contact me on my talk page.
