Controversies not mentioned[edit]

Page does not seem impartial. The board of the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra attempted to remove Joo from his position as conductor of the CPO several times; he ultimately left there against his will.

Later, Arpad Joó was fired from his position at the Brabants Orkest. This after an investigator proved that he directed an orchestra in Viersen (Germany) when he was scheduled to rehearse with the Brabants Orkest (and called in sick).
